Dekoli GmbH, Sophie-Charlotten-Str. 92, 14059 Berlin (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "Dekoli GmbH"), is the operator of the online store and responsible for the collection,

processing, and use of your personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Below, we inform you about how we process your data, for what purposes this occurs, and to what rights you are entitled.

1. What is personal data?

Personal data is all information relating to an identifiable natural person – e.g., name, address, telephone number, email address, IP address, as well as data regarding the use of our website such as device information, location data, or usage behavior.

3. Purposes and legal bases of data processing

We process your personal data in accordance with:

  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR for the execution of a contract and performance of pre-contractual measures
  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c GDPR for the fulfillment of legal obligations
  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR for the protection of legitimate interests, e.g., IT security, website optimization, or customer service

4. Transfer to third parties

Your data will only be passed on within the framework of legal requirements and to the extent necessary for the fulfillment of the contract. This includes in particular:

  • Shipping service providers such as DHL, DPD, Hermes, UPS as well as commissioned freight forwarders, to whom we transmit your delivery address for the delivery of goods
  • Payment service providers (see point 5) for processing your payment
  • IT and hosting service providers who assist us with the operation and maintenance of the website
  • Tax consultants or authorities, insofar as legal obligations exist

The transfer takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b or lit. c GDPR and only to the necessary extent.

5. Payment service providers

We use the following service providers to process payments in our online store:

PayPal
Payments via PayPal are processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. Data is transmitted exclusively for payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Shopify Payments
We process other payment methods (e.g., credit card, Klarna, instant bank transfer, Apple Pay) via Shopify Payments, provided by Shopify International Ltd., 2nd Floor, 1-2 Victoria Buildings, Haddington Road, Dublin 4, Ireland.

6. Klarna via Shopify Payments

If you choose a payment method offered by Klarna (e.g., invoice, installment purchase), the processing takes place via Shopify Payments in cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden.

7. Graphic design services

The creation of print templates and graphic content is carried out entirely internally by our in-house graphics department. In doing so, we only process the personal data necessary for implementation (e.g., contact details, files, design specifications).

8. Storage period

We store personal data only as long as it is necessary for the fulfillment of the stated purposes or statutory retention periods exist. As a rule, the retention period for contract data is up to 5 years, and in special cases (e.g., regarding legal claims) up to 30 years.

9. Website visits and cookies

When visiting our website, technical data such as IP address, browser type, or operating system are automatically collected in so-called server log files.

In addition, we use cookies for the technical provision and optimization of our online offerings. Processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can deactivate cookies via your browser settings. Please note that some functions may then be limited.

10. YouTube videos

11. Google Analytics

To analyze and optimize our website, we use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, USA. Cookies are used for this purpose. The IP address is anonymized (IP masking).

13. Registration in the online store
