Printing decorative fabric – flexible textile cloth for brilliant interior advertising

Decorative fabric is a stretchy polyester textile cloth with a matte finish and fine texture. The stretch content makes the material easy to stretch and ensures a natural smoothing effect. Colors appear vibrant and are not disturbed by reflections, as the fabric absorbs light instead of reflecting it.

Decorative fabric in use

Decorative fabric is mainly used as a piping fabric in textile frames or as banners in retail stores. The material is only suitable for indoor use. The service life depends on usage, but is usually several years. Strong or prolonged exposure to light can affect the print quality, as the inks are not UV-resistant.

The maximum print width per piece is 312 cm. When finished with piping, the maximum width is approx. 310.5 cm. The weight per unit area is 215 g/m². The fabric is shipped folded.

Wrinkle-resistant material

The foldable structure allows decorative fabric to be shipped in a space-saving and cost-effective manner. Any creases disappear when ironed or when the fabric is stretched tightly in a frame.

Decorative fabric or Decotex?

Decorative fabric and Decotex are very similar in appearance, but differ in a few respects:

• Decorative fabric: maximum print width up to 312 cm, sublimation printing – odorless and easy to fold.
• Decotex: maximum print width up to 496 cm, UV printing – more UV-resistant, but with a stronger odor initially.

Installation tip & assembly

The "e-lock" plastic tool is recommended for use in textile frames. This allows the fabric to be pressed into the frame quickly and cleanly.

Decorative fabric can be finished in various ways, for example:

• Clean cut
• With hem or hemstitch
• With flat rubber piping
• With Velcro tape, adhesive tape, or rings

For finishes such as hems, tunnels, or piping, a safety margin of approx. 3 cm should be maintained. Do not place important elements such as logos or text too close to the edge so that nothing is lost during cutting or finishing.
